Who this policy covers

This policy describes the website and customer-enquiry practices of Ideal Training Centre at 5222 Wellington Road 125, Erin, Ontario. It covers information provided when you ask about stall rentals, training facilities, visits or related arrangements.

It does not describe the separate privacy practices of independent trainers, veterinarians, race-data providers or other businesses you deal with directly.

Information you choose to provide

Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the type of enquiry and your message. It prepares a message in your email application. The form does not send a message to us or save an enquiry in a website database. We receive it only if you send the email.

We use information you send to answer your request, arrange a visit, discuss availability and manage any service relationship that follows. If you enter an agreement, relevant contact, billing, horse-care and emergency details may be needed to administer that agreement.

Do not send credit-card numbers, passwords, identity documents or sensitive personal medical details through the enquiry form. Contact us to agree on an appropriate way to discuss sensitive matters.

Website hosting and essential processing

This website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting and access-control providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, access logs and sign-in information to deliver and secure the site. If a sign-in is required, that account information is handled by the sign-in provider under its own terms.

We have not added advertising trackers, marketing pixels or a separate visitor-analytics service to this version of the website. An email service, browser or hosting provider may use its own essential technologies.

YouTube, external links and your choices

The YouTube player is not loaded until you select “Load YouTube player”. Loading it connects your browser to YouTube, which may receive your IP address, browser/device information and the referring website, and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. A privacy-enhanced player is used, but this does not mean no information is shared.

You can use the rest of the site without loading videos. Select “Unload YouTube player” to remove the player and stop further playback connections from it. This does not delete information already received by YouTube or cookies it has already set. You can manage cookies in your browser.

Use, disclosure and retention

We do not sell personal enquiry information. Information is used for the purpose of your request and the services you arrange. Relevant information may be shared with providers supporting communications or administration, with people you authorize, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. In a genuine emergency, relevant information may need to be shared with emergency responders or an authorized care provider.

Service providers may process information outside Canada, where local laws may apply. We retain correspondence and service records only for as long as reasonably needed for their purposes, applicable legal obligations, accounting, or the handling of a dispute. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, but email and internet communication cannot be guaranteed secure.

Access, corrections and consent

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity. Access may be subject to applicable legal exceptions.

You can withdraw consent to optional uses by contacting us. Legal requirements or an existing agreement may limit deletion or require some records to be retained. Withdrawing information necessary to provide a requested service may affect our ability to provide it. Sending a service enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Parents and guardians should make enquiries for children and avoid sending unnecessary information about a child. Our website does not offer accounts or online purchases for children.
